When Changeflow detects a change on a page you're monitoring, it can create a ticket in your HubSpot account automatically. Each ticket includes a note with the AI summary, a link to the source page, a link to the full diff, and a screenshot of what changed.
Your team can then assign the ticket, triage it, and close it using whatever HubSpot workflow you already have.
Connect HubSpot
- Go to Integrations in your Changeflow account
- In the HubSpot section, click Connect with HubSpot
- You'll be redirected to HubSpot to approve the connection
- Once approved, you're redirected back to Changeflow
That's it. A test ticket is created in your HubSpot account to confirm the connection is working.
What gets created
When a change is detected, Changeflow creates:
A ticket with:
- Subject: "Change detected: [source name]"
- Description: plain text summary of the change
- Priority: Medium
- Pipeline stage: New
A note on the ticket with:
- Link to the source page
- Link to view the full diff on Changeflow
- AI-generated summary of what changed
- Screenshot of the visual diff (clickable)
What happens with new links
If your source is set to track new links (e.g. monitoring a news page for new publications), Changeflow creates a ticket for each batch of new links found, with details in the attached note.
Disconnecting
Go to Integrations, find the HubSpot section, and click Disconnect. Existing tickets in HubSpot are not affected.
Scopes
Changeflow requests the following HubSpot permissions:
- Tickets - to create tickets in your pipeline
- CRM contacts write - to create notes and attach them to tickets
Changeflow does not read, modify, or delete any existing data in your HubSpot account.
Team workspaces
If you're on a team plan, only one person needs to connect HubSpot. The connection is shared across the workspace - changes detected on any team member's sources will create tickets in the connected HubSpot account.
Troubleshooting
Tickets not appearing? Check that the connection is still active on the Integrations page. If it shows "Not connected", reconnect. HubSpot access tokens expire every 30 minutes, but Changeflow refreshes them automatically. If the refresh token is revoked (e.g. someone uninstalled the app in HubSpot), you'll need to reconnect.
Wrong HubSpot account? Disconnect and reconnect. When HubSpot asks you to approve, make sure you select the right portal from the account picker at the top.
