Expect Traffic Delays **** ATLANTA, GA – The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) contractors install lane and ramp closures on Interstate 85 (I-85) in Clayton and Fulton counties this weekend to continue a concrete slab rehabilitation project on five miles between State Route 139/Riverdale Road (SR 139) and State Route 3/Metropolitan Parkway (SR 3) in Clayton and Fulton Counties. These activities help repair and extend the life of the concrete materials on the roadway.

Roadside signage will advise drivers of the closures in advance and provide directions to the detour routes.
This $7.1 M project is scheduled for completion in early 2026.
