Public Service Commission Final April 16, 2026 Agenda

The regulations require utilities to assess risk profiles, implement access controls and authentication practices, detect network intrusions, and develop incident response and recovery plans. The regulations take effect June 1, 2026.
PSC Approves $125M Restructuring of Telecommunications Companies in New York State
The New York State Public Service Commission conditionally approved a parent-level restructuring transferring indirect control of Archtop Fiber LLC and its subsidiaries including Alteva of Warwick, GTel Teleconnections, and Hancock Telephone Company. The restructuring facilitates a five-year term loan of $115 million through 2030, with companies committing to invest at least $125 million in New York over the four-year period from 2026 to 2029 to improve infrastructure and extend broadband networks.
