Annual Financial Stability Report 2025: Costa Rica Financial System Remains Sound
The Banco Central de Costa Rica published its Annual Financial Stability Report 2025 on April 7, 2026, finding that the National Financial System maintained adequate solvency and liquidity conditions despite challenges from COVID-19, interest rate increases in 2022, and resolutions of Coopeservidores and Desyfin in 2024. Macroprudential stress tests demonstrate acceptable capacity to absorb adverse shocks in credit, market, liquidity, refinancing, settlement, and contagion risk over a twelve-month horizon.

Nuestras Provincias', alusiva al Volcán Arenal en la provincia de Alajuela. Estará disponible a partir del 22 de abril de 2026 a un precio de ₡8.500, con un máximo de 2 unidades por persona. Se выпускают 10,000 unidades en acrílico y 7,000 en estuche. También circulará una versión regular de ₡25 para uso como medio de pago.
