FDIC Board Meeting - Stablecoin, AML/CFT, and Reputation Risk Rules
The FDIC Board will meet on April 7, 2026, to consider three regulatory items: a proposed rule on stablecoin requirements under the GENIUS Act for FDIC-supervised permitted payment stablecoin issuers and insured depository institutions; a proposed rule on Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism programs; and a final rule prohibiting the use of reputation risk by regulators.
