Oil Country Tubular Goods from Austria, Taiwan, UAE - Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Investigations

The U.S. International Trade Commission has instituted antidumping and countervailing duty investigations (Nos. 701-TA-791 and 731-TA-1779-1781 (Preliminary)) regarding imports of oil country tubular goods from Austria, Taiwan, and United Arab Emirates. The investigations were initiated in response to a petition filed by the U.S. OCTG Manufacturers Association, United States Steel Corporation, and United Steel Workers Union, alleging that imports are sold at less than fair value and subsidized by the Government of Austria. The Commission must reach a preliminary determination by May 18, 2026.

EPA proposes approval of AVAQMD New Source Review rule amendments

EPA Region IX is proposing to approve amendments to Antelope Valley Air Quality Management District (AVAQMD) New Source Review (NSR) permitting rules as a revision to the California State Implementation Plan. The action also withdraws EPA's previous proposed approval and limited disapproval of an earlier version of these rules. Comments are due April 22, 2026.

Citrus Tristeza Virus tolerance exemption for CTV strain T36 expressing Spinach Defensin Proteins

EPA issued a final rule establishing a tolerance exemption for residues of Citrus tristeza virus (CTV) strain T36 expressing Spinach Defensin Proteins SoD2, SoD2-1, and SoD2* in or on citrus food and feed commodities. Silvec Biologics, Inc petitioned EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act for this exemption. The rule eliminates the need to establish maximum permissible residue levels for this specific biopesticide when used in accordance with the exemption.

Movement of Plants and Plant Products from Hawaii and the Territories - Information Collection Extension

APHIS is requesting public comment on a revision to and extension of approval for information collection associated with regulations for interstate movement of fruits and vegetables from Hawaii and the Territories. The collection covers activities including limited permits, inspections, transit permits, compliance agreements, certification, and recordkeeping under OMB Control Number 0579-0346. Comments are due by June 8, 2026.
