ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation reminds motorists that southbound Highway 280 will close beginning Wednesday, April 29 at 5 a.m., as crews continue major safety improvements and road and bridge repairs between Interstate 94 in St. Paul and Highway 36/I-35W in Roseville.
Northbound Highway 280 has already been closed since April 13 to allow crews to begin construction on the highway.

In spring 2028, MnDOT will return to complete additional bridge repairs and make safety and accessibility improvements for people traveling along and across Highway 280.
