Coal Baseload Power Determination Under Defense Production Act

The President has determined that coal supply chains and baseload power generation capacity are essential to national defense under Section 303 of the Defense Production Act, covering coal mining, rail and barge logistics, export and domestic terminals, generating unit availability, on-site stockpiles, and reliability updates.
