What changed

The New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department has announced a series of delinquent property tax auctions to be held in March 2026 across Harding, Union, Colfax, Santa Fe, Eddy, Lea, and Otero Counties. These auctions are a mechanism to collect property taxes that have been delinquent for a minimum of four years. The state provides notification to delinquent taxpayers prior to these sales.
