BATON ROUGE – Beginning Monday, April 13, 2026, the Louisiana Department of Revenue (LDR) will provide walk-in customer service to New Orleans-area taxpayers at a new location.
The LDR New Orleans regional office is moving from Benson Tower in the Central Business District to the state Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) building at 100 Veterans Boulevard, New Orleans, LA 70124.
LDR will welcome individual and business taxpayers from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Services include:
- Filing and paying business taxes
- Submitting completed state individual income tax returns and making payments (staff cannot assist with the completion of tax returns)
- Watercraft registrations
- ATC/Video Poker/Lottery/Driver’s License/Wildlife & Fisheries tax clearances
- Payment plans
- Special event registrations
- Resolving bank levies and wage garnishments No appointment is necessary.
