Sanctions ranged from fines of $250 to $10,000, reprimands, education course requirements, and license suspensions or revocations.
The Louisiana Real Estate Commission has reminded licensees that missing the December 31 annual renewal deadline requires reapplication as an initial license applicant. Affected individuals must retake state and national exams and complete a new fingerprinting background check. The 90-hour pre-licensing course does not need to be repeated.
