Fraud Alert – emails and phone calls that appear to come from our office but are actually from scammers

Thursday October 2, 2025 We want to make our customers aware of recent reports of scammers contacting individuals by phone and email while pretending to represent our office. These scammers may ask for personal information such as your date of birth, Social Security number, payment information, or other sensitive details.

Please remember:

• Our office will never contact you first to request personal information.
• We may ask for identifying details only when you contact us, and only to verify your identity for your protection. If you receive an unexpected call, text, or email asking for personal information, do not respond, do not click any links, and do not provide any details. Instead, contact our office directly using the official contact information on our website. You can also verify your license/registration details by logging into your account at edopl.idaho.gov.
