Florida Businesses Set Record High Export Sales in 2025

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. —Today, FloridaCommerce and SelectFlorida announced that Florida businesses exported a total of $78.9 billion in 2025—increasing by $6.4 billion (8.9%) from 2024 and $21.6 billion (37.8%) from 2018—showing record-breaking growth and making this Florida’s largest export sales year in history. This builds on a record $1.9 billion in export sales generated by SelectFlorida in Fiscal Year 2024-2025, a $500 million increase from the previous fiscal year. Additionally, Florida’s manufactured products accounted for 92% of all Florida-grown and Florida-made exports in 2025, with manufacturers exporting approximately $72.2 billion—increasing by $6.3 billion (9.5%) over 2024 and $19.5 billion (37%) since 2018.
“Florida continues to break economic records by providing Florida businesses with the resources they need to expand their footprint, create jobs and support their local economies.,” said Florida Secretary of Commerce J. Alex Kelly. “Florida has been ranked the #1 economy in the nation for three consecutive years with the fastest growing manufacturing sector in the country. This record-breaking performance is a direct result of our strategic investments into the talent development and critical infrastructure needed to set the foundation for businesses to expand beyond our state borders and onto the world stage.”

SelectFlorida continues to support Florida small and emerging businesses, providing services to 1,463 businesses since July 2025—connecting Florida companies with opportunities across Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East. Since July 2025, Florida companies have generated more than $486 million in total sales while participating in international trade shows with SelectFlorida—demonstrating strong global demand for Florida products and services across multiple industries.
Florida companies exhibiting with SelectFlorida at the Singapore Airshow in February 2026 reported more than $150 million in total sales. Additionally in Fall 2025, companies exhibiting at MRO Europe and the Dubai Air Show reported more than $92 million in total sales. These efforts help strengthen Florida’s position on the global stage and create new opportunities for Florida business to expand internationally—ensuring Florida’s economy remains competitive in the global marketplace.
Moreover, bilateral trade through Florida’s seaports and airports also reached record levels. In 2025, bilateral merchandise trade totaled $205 billion—increasing by $8.3 billion (4.2%) from 2024 and $51.2 billion (33.3%) from 2018. Florida’s consistent growth in bilateral trade reinforces Florida’s strategic position as a gateway to not only international commerce but also the state's world-class transportation and logistics infrastructure.
In 2025, the top export markets for Florida businesses included Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Germany and Colombia. The top categories of Florida-made exports are:
