Oklahoma Nursing Board July 2025 Disciplinary Actions
Summary
Oklahoma Board of Nursing published its July 2025 disciplinary actions, reporting 13 license suspensions and revocations against registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs). Actions range from temporary suspensions pending Board hearings to permanent revocations spanning two to five years with conditions for reinstatement.
What changed
The Oklahoma Board of Nursing published final disciplinary orders from July 2025 affecting 13 licensees. Six licensees received revocations: Hofbauer, Breeden, Lodes, Moody, Neely, and Lowder with revocation periods ranging from two to five years, all with conditions for reinstatement. Seven licensees received suspensions, some pending Board hearings and others with conditions. These actions were taken under Oklahoma Statutes Sections 567.17 I, 567.7 F, and 567.8 N, covering peer assistance program defaults, dishonored payment instruments, and criminal sentencing.
Healthcare employers and staffing agencies should verify current licensure status of Oklahoma-based nursing staff and update credentialing files accordingly. Nurses with suspended or revoked licenses must refrain from practice until reinstated by the Board. Individual licensees may seek reinstatement by meeting conditions specified in their respective orders.
