What changed

The Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission published downstate arbitration calendars for February 2026 hearing sites along with an arbitrator evaluation survey for reappointment candidates. Stakeholders who have direct interaction with arbitrators may submit feedback through April 22, 2026. The commission also informs parties that assessments and self-insurance fees can now be paid electronically.

Parties with interests in Illinois workers' compensation cases should monitor the posted calendars for hearing assignments. Those working directly with arbitrators seeking reappointment are encouraged but not required to complete evaluations. Self-insured employers and insurers should note the new electronic payment option for assessments and fees.
