What changed

The Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission has published a notice requesting evaluations of arbitrators seeking reappointment. The online survey must be submitted by April 22, 2026. Only arbitrators currently seeking reappointment are included in the survey, and parties should only submit evaluations for individuals with whom they have had direct interaction. Electronic payment options for assessments and self-insurance fees are also now available.

Affected parties who have worked with arbitrators seeking reappointment should consider submitting evaluations by the April 22 deadline to assist the Chairman's reappointment review process. The survey is voluntary but provides input to the Governor's appointment recommendations.
