FRAME 2026: $150k Medical Education Reimbursement for Underserved Florida

The Florida Board of Nursing Home Administrators announced the 2026 FRAME (Florida Reimbursement Assistance for Medical Education) program, offering up to $150,000 over four years to qualified medical and mental health professionals who practice in underserved areas of Florida. The application window opens March 1, 2026 and closes April 30, 2026. Eligible professionals include physicians in specified specialties, APRNs, PAs, RNs, LPNs, psychologists, LCSWs, LMFTs, and LMHCs who hold a clear Florida license, accept Medicaid, and provide services in HRSA-designated HPSA areas or certified rural hospitals.

Florida MQA Q2 Performance Report Now Available

The Florida Department of Health's Division of Medical Quality Assurance released its FY 2025-26 Q2 Quarterly Performance Report covering key trends in licensing, enforcement, and financial information for healthcare professional licensure. Required under sections 456.005 and 456.025(9), Florida Statutes, the report provides quarterly snapshots of performance statistics to stakeholders including board members, consumers, and staff. The report also highlights MQA initiatives including the HB 975 Cleared to Care campaign and unlicensed activity outreach activities.

Nurse Licensure Compact Overview Webinar Series

The Florida Board of Nursing Home Administration is announcing a webinar series on the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). The series, led by NCSBN Director Jim Puente, will cover NLC overview, pending state legislation, Nursys database and E-Notify, and requirements for changing primary state of residence. This is informational for nurses and employers.
