CASEYVILLE – The Illinois Department of Transportation today announced lane closures on westbound Interstate 64 between Illinois 159 and Illinois 157 for a traffic control reconfiguration beginning at 12 a.m. Sunday, April 26, reducing traffic to one lane. The lanes are expected to reopen by 6 a.m. on Monday, April 27.

Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes during this closure. Drivers are urged to reduce speed, be alert for changing conditions, obey all construction signage, and refrain from using mobile devices while approaching and traveling through the work zone.
