I-55 and SR-14 Weekend and Overnight Closures for Exit Ramp Bridge Demolition

The Tennessee Department of Transportation announces upcoming full closures on I-55 and SR-14 in Memphis from April 10-13, 2026, for exit ramp bridge demolition at Exit 7. Northbound and southbound I-55 will be fully closed from Friday, April 10 at 8 p.m. through Monday, April 13 at 5 a.m. Additional overnight closures on SR-14 are scheduled for April 13-15. The northbound I-55 to northbound SR-14 ramp and southbound I-55 to southbound SR-14 ramp will close April 13 for approximately four months.

Middle Tennessee Scheduled Lane Closures April 19-25 2026

TN DOT announced scheduled lane closures across Middle Tennessee interstates and state routes from April 19-25, 2026. Work includes milling and paving on I-24, I-65, and I-40, bridge repairs, guardrail repairs, and utility work across Davidson, Rutherford, Montgomery, Sumner, Maury, Robertson, Dickson, Humphreys, Smith, and Bedford counties. Multiple lane and ramp closures are planned during evening and overnight hours.

State Route 93 Closure in Sullivan County, Tennessee

TN DOT announces temporary closure of State Route 93 in Sullivan County, Tennessee, beginning at 7 p.m. on April 16, 2026 and ending at 6 a.m. on April 17, 2026. The closure affects southbound lanes between Murrell Road and State Route 347 (Lone Star Road/Mill Creek Road) for pothole patching and guardrail repairs. Motorists will be directed to use I-26 and I-81 as alternate routes.
