What changed

ANAC has opened a public selection for a Mixed Study Group to review training and licensing requirements for Aeronautical Maintenance Mechanics under RBAC No. 65. Interested parties may register until April 29, 2026, with external membership capped at 20 participants to ensure diverse geographic and organizational representation.

Aviation industry stakeholders—including maintenance organizations, training institutions, and professional associations—should consider applying to influence upcoming regulatory changes to MMA licensing requirements. The group's output will support ANAC's Regulatory Impact Analysis before any formal rulemaking on RBAC 65 amendments.
