On Tuesday, April 28, the contractor, John Nastase Construction, will be placing signage and temporary traffic signals for traffic to travel on the temporary one lane bridge while demolition of the existing and construction of the new bridge takes place.

Drivers should be alert for construction vehicles entering and exiting the roadway. In addition, drivers should slow down and drive with caution as heavy machinery will be operating in the area,

John Nastase Construction is the prime contractor for this $2,227,777 bridge replacement project. Work on the project includes construction of a temporary roadway and bridge, installation of temporary traffic signals, removal of the existing structure, construction of a new structure, approach work, paving, line painting, guide rail, and removal of the temporary roadway and bridge. The project is anticipated to be completed in fall of 2026, weather permitting.
