The contractor will begin mobilizing equipment and material at the work zone on Monday, April 20 and Tuesday, April 21. Additional work include miscellaneous preparations for the upcoming project.
Starting on Wednesday, April 22, Cotton Hollow Road will be closed between Route 187 and Merry Round Road (T-762), while the contractor begins removal of the existing metal pipe arch culvert. Additional work includes installation of a new concrete box culvert, paving, and line painting.
A detour using Route 187 and Battle Creek Road (Route 1055) will be in place until mid-May, weather permitting.
T. Brennan Heavy Equipment is the prime contractor for this $1.2 million pipe replacement project. Work on the project is anticipated to be completed in June.
