Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a PennDOT Dauphin County maintenance crew is scheduled to conduct a two-week nighttime deck patching operation on the northbound Interstate 81, George N. Wade (North) Bridge over the Susquehanna River in Harrisburg between Dauphin and Cumberland counties.
Weather permitting bridge deck patching will be performed Sunday through Thursday, April 26-30 and May 3-7, from 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM the following morning. There will be lane restrictions on northbound I-81.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for this operation, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
