Scope
Description
ST Connect are seeking to run a competitive flexible procurement process to appoint a contractor for the design and build of a new Wastewater Recycling Centre and ancillary services at Beeston Park, Norwich. The first stage will be a PSQ stage where it is envisaged that a tender list of 3 to 5 contractors will be drawn up, comprising the highest scoring evaluated PSQ submissions, to be invited to submit tenders for the project.
The contractors scope will be to fulfil the duties of the Principal Contractor under the CDM Regulations and complete the design, build, commissioning and operational proving of the wastewater recycling centre including the completion of a fully co-ordinated technical design to meet the requirements of a performance specification provided by ST Connect, the discharge of all remaining statutory conditions and compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory standards, permits and licenses.
If the contractors proposed solution requires changes to the consented scheme, the contractor will be exclusively responsible for preparing, supporting, funding and securing all amendments and proving to ST Connect that their proposed solution can be delivered within the construction programme.
We anticipate the contract period to be in the region of 15 to 18 months from date of award of contract. The anticipated contract value range in GBP Sterling is from £8,000,000.00 to £9,000,000.00.
