Description
The project is to design, deliver and install a Battery Energy Storage and all supporting infrastructure at Knook Camp on the UK Defence Training Estate (UK DTE).
The battery energy storage must be designed and installed to exploit the contribution of existing on-site Solar PV energy on site, and maximise return of investment during the first 3 years.
The objective is to reduce the reliance of energy supply from the National Grid, whilst providing energy resilience and contributing to the MOD's Net Zero target and the project must be delivered in '26/'27 financial year, within budget.
