Description

The Authority is looking for suitably qualified contractor to undertake a design and build contract (NEC4 ECC) for safety improvement works on the Humber Bridge, comprising: Item 1 - Barrier Safety Improvement Scheme (BSIS): Design and installation of circa.5 km of footpath parapet height extension (east and west footpaths) across the suspension bridge, Barton South Approach Viaduct, and abutting anchorage sections. Item 2 - Footpath Expansion Joint Replacement: Design and replacement of 8 No. life-expired footpath expansion joints at Hessle and Barton Towers. The Contractor is responsible for permanent and temporary works design, and will assume Principal Designer and Principal Contractor duties under CDM 2015.

For any product in the works required by legislation to have UKCA marking under factory production control (FPC) (e.g. structural steelwork), details of: ● FPC certification from a UK approved body, or equivalent. CE or CE & UK(NI) marking is an acceptable alternative to UKCA marking
