Summary
Hampshire County Council has awarded a contract to FIVE RIVERS CHILD CARE LIMITED for independent fostering agencies to support children with disabilities and complex healthcare needs. The contract value is £0, as it is a call-off from a larger framework.
What changed
Hampshire County Council has awarded a contract to FIVE RIVERS CHILD CARE LIMITED under its framework for independent fostering agencies (IFAs) to provide services for children with disabilities and complex healthcare needs. This award is a 'call off' from a multi-lot framework designed to secure local fostering arrangements for Hampshire's looked-after children, supporting their education, training, and contact needs.
While the contract value is listed as £0, this signifies it is a call-off from an existing framework, and actual service costs will be incurred as placements are made. The council's Children Services Directorate is seeking to commission a range of IFA services, including standard placements, parent & child placements, and placements for children with complex behaviours, disabilities, or healthcare needs. New suppliers can apply to join the framework at any time, with evaluation typically within three weeks.
What to do next
- Review contract award notice for Hampshire County Council's fostering agency framework.
- If applicable, assess potential for new supplier applications or existing supplier updates to additional lots.
