What changed
ACF published a $8 million grant opportunity for Congressionally Directed Community Projects under two assistance listings (93.647 and 93.493). The funding is restricted to nonprofit organizations specifically named in the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026 (H.R. 7148). Non-specified entities, individuals, sole proprietorships, and foreign entities are explicitly ineligible and will be disqualified from review.
For potential applicants, this represents a narrow funding window limited to congressionally designated recipients. Organizations not specified in H.R. 7148 should not pursue this opportunity as applications will not be considered. Eligible nonprofits should ensure applications align with Congressional purpose statements and do not request amounts exceeding Congressional allocations. The deadline for electronic submission is June 16, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST.
