Description
Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) has a requirement to replace an existing 20’ “Claymar” tower at the LL490.5 Wellington Breakwater West site. As part of this replacement, a new concrete cap is required
in order to level out the existing concrete foundation which is currently leaning. New tower shall be a 20’ “Claymar” tower of similar likeness to the existing.
Work under this Contract includes but is not limited to the provision of all labour, materials, and
equipment required to:
• Removal of existing “Claymar” Tower
• Supply and installation of concrete cap onto existing foundation including;
a) Supply and installation of rebar dowels to tie existing foundation to concrete cap
b) Supply and installation of formwork 4” above highest point of existing concrete cap
• Supply and installation of anchor bolts for new “Claymar” tower;
• Transport new “claymar” Toer from CCG Prescott Base to site;
• Install new “Claymar” Tower onto new anchor bolts;
• Installation of Rip-Rap to match existing breakwall, around existing foundation.
