The general nature of the work to be carried out under the contract consists of: Replacement of all deck joint compression seals; concrete encapsulation of the approach expansion bent caps; repair deteriorated steel truss members; installation of drain troughs below expansion finger joints; modifications to the truss deck drains; steel recoating of deteriorated steel elements.
