Description

The Ministry of Environment and Parks is undertaking a program to complete flood remediation works at Coquihalla Canyon Park: 2021 Flood Remediation – Tunnel 5 Foundation Stabilization

The work of this Contract consists of the supply and installation of materials, including all labour, equipment and tools related to flood remediation work, site preparation, all in accordance with the drawings and specifications, and for the prices tendered in the Schedule of Quantities and Unit Price Table.

The Coquihalla Canyon Park: 2021 Flood Remediation – Tunnel 5 Foundation Stabilization works is generally described as follows:

Tunnel 1 North Portal and Trail to Main Parking Lot: Replacement of existing gate and reuse of gate in Tunnel 3-4, or as directed by Ministry Representative. Installation of park benches. Tunnel 5: Supply and Install 20x 168 mm dia. micropile retaining wall 10 m deep over a length of 7.2 m with spacing at 380 mm; Supply and Install 18x 168 mm dia. 14 m deep micropiles in a grid formation ~7 m into the south portal; Supply and Install 6x steel W-beam pile caps, bolted to the tunnel liner footing. Restoring the work area/gravel pathway. Tenders must be accompanied with a bid security in the amount of 10% of the total Tendered Price.

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

March 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM located at Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park Parking Lot, Tunnels Rd, Hope, BC V0X 1L1
