Description

The Town of Fox Creek is seeking proposals from qualified film production companies to produce an educational and public-awareness film titled Fox Creek: From Forest to Future.

The film will document Fox Creek’s industrial heritage, forestry and oil/gas development, sustainable resource management practices, wildfire resilience, and community stories.

The objective of this project is to produce a high-quality educational video that:
· Chronicles the history and evolution of forestry and oil/gas activities in Fox Creek.
· Showcases modern sustainable forestry and wildfire-mitigation practices.
· Highlights Canfor’s and Fox Creek’s environmental stewardship.
· Documents community stories, industrial heritage, and Indigenous perspectives.
· Provides visual, historical, and educational content for public engagement, local distribution, and digital platforms.

The Proponent will be responsible for full-cycle film production, including research support, filming, editing, and delivery. Show more description Show less description
