Description
The Ministry of Environment and Parks, Recreation Sites and Trails BC is issuing a Request for Proposal for recreation site maintenance services in the Cascades District (Contract RC272730001) for an initial term of one (1) year. The Province reserves the right to extend the Contract for up to two (2) additional periods of twelve (12) months each. Renewal of any optional term will be determined annually at the Province’s discretion and is subject to mutual agreement between the Province and the Contractor. The period is from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027. We will accept sealed RFP’s until 11:00AM (local time PST) March 25th, 2026. RFP’s will be opened in private at 11:00AM (local time PST) March 26th, 2026. The bids will be publicly posted once the successful bidder is confirmed.
There will not be an information meeting held for this opportunity.
The contractor will provide recreation site maintenance for: 51sites, that will comprise of 445 individual maintenance visits per season. The initial pre-season site visit will prioritize which sites make up the 445 visits for the season. Not every site may receive regular site visits during the season, some site may require consecutive visits to conduct maintenance to achieve the set standard and that extra time may detract from other scheduled site visits, however the total number of site visits will remain at 445. Site visits will provide basic site maintenance and possibly more intense works requiring Hazard tree assessment & small, along with machines (mini excavators, skid steer, dump trailers etc.) to complete the tasks. Recreation Sites are identified in the Schedule C Site Maintenance Schedule RC272730001. The Contractor may be requested, at the Province’s discretion and upon mutual agreement, to provide additional services at other Recreation Sites within the Cascades District

No RFP containing any qualifying clauses whatsoever shall be considered, and the lowest or any RFP may not necessarily be accepted.
