Summary

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has approved holdback reports for several broadband funding recipients, including ATG Arrow Technology Group Limited Partnership, Columbia Basin Broadband Corporation, and Nexicom Inc. This approval allows for the distribution of payments associated with these holdbacks.

What changed

The CRTC has approved the holdback reports submitted by ATG Arrow Technology Group Limited Partnership, Columbia Basin Broadband Corporation, and Nexicom Inc. for projects funded under the Broadband Fund. These approvals signify that the projects have met their one-year operational requirements and fulfilled the objectives of the fund, allowing the Central Fund Administrator to release the associated holdback payments to the recipients.

This action confirms the successful completion of project milestones for these specific recipients. Regulated entities involved in broadband funding programs should ensure their own projects meet the stated conditions and reporting requirements to facilitate timely release of funds. No new obligations are imposed, but this serves as an administrative confirmation of prior funding decisions.
