Sacramento – State Controller and Franchise Tax Board (FTB) Chair Malia M. Cohen will be available for live and taped interviews to share tax tips for last-minute filers on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 7 AM to 9 AM at FTB in Sacramento.

Visual opportunities:

Media will be able to capture footage of FTB employees working in the tax return processing area, including equipment used to open and sort paper returns and high-speed document scanners in operation.

To ensure we can meet the needs of all attending outlets, and because we expect multiple media organizations on site, providing designated interview times in advance will help us manage the schedule efficiently. We kindly ask media to RSVP to FTB Public Affairs Staff.

Turn right into the parking lot and follow the road to the rear of the building, where security will raise the barrier arms and direct you to parking nearest the media availability.
