HB 4 - Three-Day Waiting Period for Firearms Purchases

The bill would require the Department of Labor to establish eligibility criteria, conditions, limitations, and definitions. The effective date and applicability provisions are to be determined upon enactment.
HB 2 Safe Storage Tax Credit Act
Georgia House Bill 2 proposes to amend Chapter 7 of Title 48 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated relating to income taxes. The bill would create a tax credit for certain eligible expenses incurred for firearm safe storage devices. The legislation establishes an aggregate annual cap, requires tax credit preapproval by the Georgia Department of Revenue, and provides for rules and regulations. The bill includes an automatic repeal provision.
Safe Storage Firearms Child Access Prevention Act
Georgia House Bill 1, the Pediatric Health Safe Storage Act, would create a new criminal offense of making a firearm accessible to a child. The bill applies to gun owners and requires firearm dealers to provide notice about the new requirements. It includes exceptions and affirmative defenses for certain lawful activities involving firearms.
