CDS Stoneridge Utilities Requests 43% Water Rate Increase

The Idaho Public Utilities Commission announced a customer hearing scheduled for May 20, 2026 regarding CDS Stoneridge Utilities, LLC's application to increase water rates by 43 percent. The utility cited system deficiencies identified in a Department of Environmental Quality Sanitary Survey and lost revenue from the Stoneridge Golf Course switching to its own well. Proposed monthly minimum charges range from $39.70 for 3/4" and 1" meters to $2,540.76 for 6.0" meters.
