Puerto Rico Labor Portal Modernizes, Improves Data Access

The Puerto Rico Department of Labor and Human Resources (DTRH) has redesigned its Labor Market Information Portal at mercadolaboral.pr.gov, adding a modern interface with educational tools and improved data navigation. A new feature allows citizens to identify field staff, view their assigned regions, and verify their identity, addressing distrust from fraud incidents in survey collection. The initiative, completed at no cost to the agency, aligns with the Governor's government modernization agenda and provides faster access to employment, wage, and labor trend data for citizens, employers, and workers.
