2026 Civil Penalty Adjustment Pending Federal OSHA Release

Hawaii OSHA has issued a notice stating that the 2026 civil penalty adjustment remains pending and will not be finalized until federal OSHA releases its corresponding adjustment. The existing 2025 penalty structure will remain in effect until that time. HIOSH will review and adopt the updated penalty structure following federal publication.
