SAFETY CONTROL SYSTEM OF A DRUG INJECTION SYSTEM

Application US20260091170A1 Kind: A1 Apr 02, 2026

Inventors

Chin-Min YEH, Chih-Wei WANG

Abstract

In a safety control system of a drug injection system, the drug injection system has a needle output mechanism, a drug storage module and a control unit. The needle output mechanism includes: a piercing assembly assembled in a casing; and a needle output operation assembly being for operating the piercing assembly and having a needle output element being movable in the casing and lockable. The safety control mechanism has: a contact end cap slidably mounted in the casing; and a confirming switch electrically connected to a control unit. The contact end cap can be forced to enter the casing to release the needle output element. When the contact end cap is pressed to an end position, the confirming switch is activated to switch the control unit to a state of preparation for injection, such that the safety performance of the drug injection system is improved.
