What changed
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a notice announcing the cancellation of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) meeting that was scheduled for March 18-19, 2026. This action is a direct result of a preliminary order issued on March 16, 2026, in the case American Academy of Pediatrics et al. v. Kennedy et al., No. 1:25-cv-11916 (D. Mass.), which has stayed the meeting until further notice.
This notice serves to inform the public and relevant stakeholders of the meeting's cancellation. While this is a procedural update and does not impose new compliance obligations, entities that were planning to attend or present at the meeting should note this change. Further information regarding the rescheduling or future status of the ACIP meeting will be provided in subsequent notices.
