APRN Consensus Model Licensure Certification Newsletter
The Delaware State Board of Nursing APN Committee published a newsletter explaining the APRN Consensus Model's impact on Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure and certification. The model standardizes APRN practice across four roles (CRNA, CNM, CNS, CNP) and six population focuses, with certification exams being retired if they do not align. Currently certified APRNs may maintain credentials through timely renewals but must monitor certification retirement schedules.
