Statistical Bulletin on Civil Liability Risks, 2024
IVASS published its statistical bulletin on general and healthcare civil liability insurance risks for 2024. General civil liability premiums from supervised insurers reached €4.157 billion (10.2% of total non-life premiums), growing 3.5% year-on-year with average claim cost of €7,574 (+7.2%). Healthcare civil liability premiums totaled €691 million (-2.2%), with the top ten insurers holding 94.6% market share and average claims significantly higher for public healthcare structures.
