NERSA Seeks Comments on FY2026/27 Electricity Tariff Applications for Three Municipalities
NERSA has published electricity tariff applications for FY2026/27 for City of Ekurhuleni, Mogale City, and Naledi Municipality, seeking written comments from affected parties. The High Court of South Africa, Gauteng Division, Pretoria issued judgments on 16, 17, and 24 March 2026 allowing the three municipalities to deviate from standard timelines. Comment deadlines are 10 May 2026 for City of Ekurhuleni and Mogale City, and 14 May 2026 for Naledi Municipality. NERSA will publish applications including cost of supply studies on its website and social media platforms.
