PSC Approves Ameren Missouri

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.--- The Missouri Public Service Commission today has approved an application for a Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) filed by Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri. The Commission reviewed the application as well as filed testimony and recommendations from the parties in the case. It carefully considered multiple factors including those associated with Ameren Missouri’s 2023 Integrated Resource Plan, its qualifications to provide the service and to finance the service, as well as requirements associated with the Federal Energy Commission (FERC) Order No. 888 impacting factors related to the project’s economic feasibility and public interest.
