PSC Sets Intervention Deadline
for Missouri-American WSIRA Rate Adjustment Requests
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.--- The Missouri Public Service Commission (“PSC”) has set an intervention deadline of March 18, 2026, in an application from Missouri-American Water Company (Missouri-American) to change its water and sewer infrastructure rate adjustments (“WSIRAs”).
On March 3, 2026, Missouri-American filed a petition with the PSC to recover the costs of eligible infrastructure system project costs through implementation of a WSIRA. If approved, the WSIRA adjustment would increase Missouri-American base revenues by 3.1% for water and by 1.6% for sewer. Missouri-American currently provides water service to approximately 485,000 customers and sewer service to approximately 24,000 customers in several counties throughout the state of Missouri.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Mo. 65102-0360, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (“EFIS”) at psc.mo.gov.
