In 2025 werden er bijna 1,5 miljoen rechterlijke beslissingen genomen. Dit blijkt uit het vandaag gepubliceerde jaarverslag van de Rechtspraak. Ongeveer een even groot aantal nieuwe zaken werd vorig jaar bij de gerechten aangebracht. In het jaarverslag staan allerlei cijfers die inzicht geven in de prestaties en samenstelling van de Rechtspraak. Bijvoorbeeld hoeveel mensen er werken, het aantal rechters in opleiding en hoeveel uitspraken er zijn gepubliceerd in het uitsprakenregister.

Meer dan 13 duizend mensen zetten zich elke dag in voor onafhankelijke, onpartijdige en deskundige rechtspraak.
