El Jefe de la División Anticarteles de la Fiscalía Nacional Económica (FNE), Matías Belmonte, participó la semana pasada en el webinar “Meet the Enforcers”, organizado por la Sección de Libre Competencia de la American Bar Association (ABA).
El panel fue moderado por Leah McCoy, Vicepresidenta del Comité de Carteles y Práctica Penal de la referida sección de la ABA, y en él también participó la Secretaria de Instrucción de Conductas Anticompetitivas de la Autoridad Nacional de la Competencia de Argentina, Ana Julia Parente.
En el encuentro conversaron, entre otras materias, sobre los desafíos actuales de la persecución de carteles, las prioridades de las autoridades latinoamericanas y la relevancia de la cooperación internacional a este respecto.
En su exposición, el representante de la FNE se refirió a los desarrollos recientes de la División Anticarteles de la FNE y de la Unidad de Inteligencia adscrita a ella, los que le permiten encarar los retos que implican las nuevas tecnologías.
