MFSA Insurance Conference 2026: Solvency II Review Package and IRRD Implementation

Climate Risk in Banking Workshop, 17 March 2026
The MFSA's Banking Supervision Function and Financial Stability Function jointly organised a full-day workshop on Climate and Environmental (C&E) risks in banking, held on 17 March 2026 at MFSA premises. The event gathered representatives from the ECB, Banco de Portugal, De Nederlandsche Bank, academic institutions, and advisory firms to share supervisory findings, cross-jurisdictional experience, and practical case studies. The workshop covered EBA Guidelines on ESG risk management, C&E risk integration into credit processes and governance frameworks, and interactive exercises using KPIs and KRIs.
Fund Managers Workshop on AIFMD II and UCITS VI Changes, 5th May 2026
The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) announces a workshop for fund managers on Tuesday, 5th May 2026 at the Conference Hall, Trident Park, Birkirkara, focusing on AIFMD II and UCITS VI changes including the Marketing Integration Package, ELTIF framework updates, and liquidity management tools. The event runs from 09:00H to 12:00H with registration closing Friday 1st May 2026, limited to two participants per company on a first-come, first-served basis.
