Community open house set to discuss US-70 Roosevelt Bridge replacement

Tweet PRINT Email Thursday, April 16, 2026 The Oklahoma Department of Transportation and its partners are hosting a community open house to introduce the teams moving forward with replacing the US-70 Roosevelt Bridge over Lake Texoma and to discuss the effects it will have on the area as well as the timeline. Residents, local businesses and any community members interested in the project will have an opportunity to meet the Zachry Construction and Traylor Bros. team, view renderings and learn more about the construction.

Representatives from ODOT and the project team will be available to answer questions and walk through what the project will involve in the coming years. Informational displays will highlight key elements of the new bridge design and planned improvements. The event is designed as a come-and-go open house, allowing attendees to stop by at any time during the two-hour window.
